Masuta Kira is the light in the darkness, hunter of the dead, and master ninja. He has come from far beyond the Imperial Border to rid the land of undead. His favorite pupil fell during a battle with the Lich. Now he craves revenge and nothing will stop him.

Boosted Damage - effect (Damage)
This hero deals boosted damage against certain targets or under certain circumstances. See the description of the respective Trait or Ability for details. If you see this icon during events, it means that the hero gets a special event buff.

Crit Immune - immunity (Status Effect)
Immune to all critical hits (CRIT!). Only normal but no boosted (x2) damage is taken from attacks.

Extra Attacks - effect (Attack/Damage)
The target or allies have the chance to do an extra basic attack. This can be a result of a buff (like Haste), or granted by a trait (like Valkin's Lead By Example). There are also a few rare runes that have a passive/4th stat (20% chance for an extra attack). An extra basic attack can trigger an Epic effect (with a few exceptions like Hog Wild). Notes and Tips[]

Use  Masuta Kira against the Lich as his  Dim Mak prevents the Lich from healing (Sacrifice), making him easier to be dealt with.

Also,  Masuta Kira will definitely come in handy in the level Coarse Climb (19-7). Jade Demon Karu has several healing abilities (and several other abilities that increases damage dealt and therefore, healing), and those healing abilities can be mitigated via  Dim Mak.

In a nutshell, just use Masuta (obviously must be in his 2nd ascension) whenever you face enemies that have annoying healing abilities.

Additionally, his ability to purge enemy abilities using  Death Blossom is very useful as well when encountering enemies that rely on buffs.

Trivia[]

There used to be a street named after Masuta Kira, but they had to change it because no one crosses Masuta and lives.
