Individuals hit by a Frostbite attack will show a brief shimmering blue aura around them, like the Chilled effect.

The abilities icons of a Frostbitten hero are framed by crystal icy layer to warn you that the use of any special attack causes 20% damage of the Hero's max health.

Heroes should be careful when attacking enemies that can apply Frostbite by their skin, or do revenge attacks because the damage of the debuff is applied retroactively. For example, a hero not Frostbitten uses their special attack. During the attack, the Frostbite debuff is applied. In consequences, the hero will suffer damage equal 20% of their max health.

A with Frostbite debuffed target will die after the use of any special attack when it has less than 20% health. Shields like Aegis Shield Icon.png Aegis Shield can soak the damage and save the debuffed hero.

Heroes

The following heroes have or can inflict/apply Frostbitten:

Questionable Contrails Icon.png Questionable Contrails (Special Attack): Ranged Light attack on all enemies that applies Burn, Poison, or Frostbite to each enemy, and buffs DEF of all allies.


Avalanche Icon.png Avalanche (Special Attack): Ranged Water attack on target enemy with splash damage, chance to apply Frostbite to target for 3 turns. Consumes 50% of current Momentum and increases splash damage based on the Momentum consumed.


Strike Icon.png Strike! (Special Attack): Melee Water attack on all enemies with a chance to Slow and inflict Choked CRIT (reduces CRIT to 0%). Snow Day: +chance to Frostbite.
Frostbreath Icon.png Frostbreath (Special Attack): Ranged Water attack with a chance to Frostbite. Snow Day: Ranged Water attack on all enemies that Freezes all enemies hit.


Hailstorm Icon.png Hailstorm (Special Attack): Ranged Water attack on all enemies that hits twice, with a chance to Frostbite.


Frostbite Taunt Icon.png Frostbite Taunt (Special Attack): Taunts, forcing enemies to target this Hero with attacks, buffs +DEF, and has a chance to apply Frostbite to attackers when hit. Starts Powered.
Snowy Smash Icon.png Snowy Smash (Basic Attack): A Basic Melee Physical attack with a chance to Chill, Frostbite if target is Chilled, or Freeze if target is Frostbitten.


Lifeless Breath Icon.png Lifeless Breath (Special Attack): Ranged Water attack on target enemy with splash damage, applying Frostbite to the initial target.


Frost Katana Icon.png Frost Katana (Special Attack): Armor-Piercing Melee Water attack on target enemy with splash damage, chance to apply Frostbite on all enemies hit.


Frost Barrage Icon.png Frost Barrage (Special Attack): Buffs self and Water allies +ATK, then does a Ranged Water attack on all enemies with a chance to Frostbite.



Epic Heroes with Frostbitten:

Wand of the Winds.png Wand of the Winds (Epic): Chance to deal 3x damage, inflicting Frostbite, then enters Ice Block.

Insulated Woolies Icon.png Insulated Monsters (Trait): Self and allied Monsters gain Insulated Woolies (Immune to Freeze, Frostbite and Chill).

Cold as Death Icon.png Cold as Death (Trait): Cannot be Frozen, Chilled, or Frostbitten.

You Can't Catch Me Icon.png You Can't Catch Me! (Trait): Flying allies can't have buffs removed or debuffs added by non-Flying enemies.
Ambush Tactics Icon.png Ambush Tactics (Special Attack): Ranged Physical attack on target enemy and all Ranged allies attack the same target, then gain Stealth and become Invulnerable for 1 turn. Starts Powered.
Ice Block Icon.png Ice Block (Trait): Starts dungeons in Ice Block, reducing damage taken (90% Damage Reduction) and Debuff immune until his first turn. Can't be stolen, copied, or purged.
Living Stone Icon.png Living Stone (Trait): Immune to all debuffs but can be healed normally.
Construct Icon.png Construct (Trait): Cannot be healed but is invulnerable to all Debuffs.
The Last Word Icon.png The Last Word (Trait): Slow allies and self take 30% reduced damage from Fast enemies. Slow allies revenge attacks twice. Slow allies can't have buffs removed or debuffs added by fast enemies.
