Buddy Synergy - efffect (Special)
If this hero is in a team with a certain other hero, then a trait will be unlocked or enables additional effects of a trait. (Sometimes more than one other hero is needed in the team.)

Damage Reduction - effect (Damage/Damage Reduction)
The damage suffered is mitigated by certain percent. Damage Reduction is capped at 90% and applied multiplicative.

Energy Loss - effect (Energy/Disable)
The attacked target loses some of the Energy that is required to use their Abilities.

Extra Attacks - effect (Attack/Damage)
The target or allies have the chance to do an extra basic attack. This can be a result of a buff (like Haste), or granted by a trait (like Valkin's Lead By Example). There are also a few rare runes that have a passive/4th stat (20% chance for an extra attack). An extra basic attack can trigger an Epic effect (with a few exceptions like Hog Wild). Note: There is no icon for this effect. It's used on this wiki page only.

Starts Powered - effect (Energy)
This Ability has full energy and can be used at the beginning of the battle.

Provoked - debuff (Crowd Control)
Target is forced to attack the provoker for the next 3 turns.

Rage - buff (Damage/Damage Reduction/Stack)
Rage modifies abilities of Barbarians and boosts their ATK as well as Damage Reduction. It stacks up to 5 times, resets on each dungeon room, and cannot be copied or stolen; doing so will purge it.

Silenced - debuff (Disable/Attack)
Target cannot use Special attacks.

Taunt - buff (Crowd Control)
Target has boosted DEF and forces all enemies to attack them for 3 turns.

Notes and Tips[]

Tokens can be looted from Dungeons and can be found in a Heroic Portal Summon.

 Balog the Loud was an event hero. During an event that featured him his tokens could be collected to unlock him and to increase his star level. Usually there is also a Portal Event during the Special Event so that there is an increased chance to summon him.

His debut was in the Special Event Barbarian Hordes and he returned in Balog Returns, Barbarian Bonanza and Warrior's Arena.
