you can make this hero Epic.

Doing this raises it's Attack/Max Health/Crit Chance by a set percentage,
as well as adding a special effect to it's Basic Attack.

This buff is consumed to negate the next source of damage dealt to the target.

Boosted Damage - effect (Damage)
This hero deals boosted damage against certain targets or under certain circumstances. See the description of the respective Trait or Ability for details. If you see this icon during events, it means that the hero gets a special event buff.

Cleanse - effect (Status Effect)
This effect instantly removes 1+ debuff(s) from the target ally.

Damage Reduction - effect (Damage/Damage Reduction)
The damage suffered is mitigated by certain percent. Damage Reduction is capped at 90% and applied multiplicative.

DEF+ - buff (Defense)
Target has boosted DEF.

Extra Energy - effect (Energy)
The hero starts the dungeon with extra energy, which is required to use their special attacks/abilities.

Heal - effect (Health)
Recovers HP for the target ally.

Purge - effect (Status Effect)
This effect instantly removes 1+ buffs from the target.

Revenge Attacks - effect (Attack)
If the target (or an ally) is hit there is a chance for a Revenge attack, a basic attack. Buffs (like Pumped) or traits (like Slow) can grant Revenge attacks. Revenge attacks can trigger Epics but not another Revenge attack of the enemy to prevent endless loops.

Notes and Tips[]

 Augustus' tokens are rewarded as part of a quest completion when his event is available, and as Guild Tournament reward. Visit Recruiting Augustus the Paladin! and the Guilds page to see more in detail. The Challenge Mode offers tokens to collect.

Furthermore Augustus can be found in Heroic Summons from the Portal. Tip: If you've collected 100 tokens but not yet unlocked Augustus it's better to have patience and spent gems for a Heroic Portal Summon. If you're lucky and the portal unlocks the Hero then your patience and the collected tokens will reward you a 4★ upgrade immediately. If you unlock the Hero first then any Portal unlocks will net you only 30 additional tokens (or 10 tokens when he is featured in portal).

On June 30, 2016 Augustus got a permanent health boost and his (new)  Demon Vendetta ability from the New Changes to Six Heroes update.
